Hi!
My name is Geke, and I am a 28-year-old passionate about the natural world. I want to share my love for and knowledge of the environment with others. As a child, I spent countless hours outdoors, exploring nature. Whether hiking through the forest, observing wildlife, or simply taking a leisurely walk, I always felt at peace and connected to the natural world. Over the years, this love for nature has only grown stronger, and I now have a profound appreciation for the complexity and beauty of the environment.
I have always been fascinated by the environment and the animals that inhabit it, which led me to study tropical ecology. During my studies, I have had the opportunity to learn about the incredible diversity of species found in tropical ecosystems, as well as the complex relationships between these species and their environment. With a solid understanding of tropical ecology and its essential role in maintaining biodiversity, I am determined to make a positive impact. My dream is to continue my studies and become a researcher specialising in tropical ecosystems, with a focus on either Africa or Australia.
Additionally, I am a creative individual who enjoys expressing myself through writing and photography. I often draw inspiration from the natural world, as I believe that creativity and nature are deeply interconnected. A strong connection to nature not only fosters creativity but also brings joy and fulfillment to our lives.
I created this blog to share my passion and knowledge of nature with others. Through a series of study units, I delve into various aspects of the natural world, including tropical ecology, animal behavior, and the significance of conservation. Each unit is designed to be both engaging and interactive, offering valuable information and activities that help deepen your understanding and appreciation of nature. Join me on this journey as I explore the wonders of tropical ecosystems and my outdoor adventures. Together, let’s raise awareness about the importance of conserving our planet’s ecosystems and the incredible creatures that inhabit them.
If you have any questions or would like to share your own experiences, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you and sharing my love for nature.
